James Francis Flaherty

James F. Flaherty died July 25, 2012 at Silverton Hospital. He was 81 years old. He was born in San Francisco on December 15, 1930 to Frank and Bessie Flaherty. He married Verna G. Braeme on May 5, 2007. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Verna; his two sons Peter Flaherty of Linn, Missouri and Butch Flaherty of Northfield, Minn.; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. He loved to travel and be in Yuma, Ariz. for the winter. He was a very active member of the Moose Lodge #1271 in Molalla; he was also a member of the Florence Moose lodge where he was a governor for two years. He will be greatly missed by all, as he had great sense of humor. The funeral will take place at the Molalla Moose lodge on Saturday, August 11 at 2 pm.
