He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Virginia (Stetson), Andrew Gonzales, Marsha (Archuleta), and Mattie (Martinez). His surviving siblings are Emily (Loggan), Raymond and (Hilda) Gonzales, Nancy Miera, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Priscilla Rose (Aguilar) Gonzales, “the love of his life”. They went through life’s adventures together and have known each other since their early teens. During that time, he was stationed in many places, such as, California, Hawaii, Japan, and the Philippines. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1976 from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He went on to receive his Real Estate license and worked as a real estate broker, agent and appraiser. He also worked in sheet metal prior to that and was a jack-of-all-trades. He knew how to fix and build many things around the home. He was a very private person, but also had a hilarious sense of humor side. He always made us laugh with many jokes and stories. He played guitar, loved watching movie classics and football, especially the Broncos. He also liked history and old photos and of course, when he was feeling better, loved to go fishing. A Military Honors Committal Service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 13, 2024, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235.
