James "Jim" E. H. Grafton 43, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Jim was born on January 7, 1971 in Oak Harbor, Washington. He was an accomplished chef; graduating from Johnson and Wales University, Charleston, South Carolina. He was active member and supporter of substance abuse recovery and was seeking his Substance Abuse Counseling degree at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, Florida. Jim is survived by his father, Jay Troy Grafton, Sr.; and siblings Jay Troy Grafton, Jr.; Helen Terese Grafton Scholze; Shiela Lynn Grafton Milan. Jim is also survived by 9 nieces, 3 nephews, 1 great niece as well as 2 great nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at the Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street N., St. Petersburg, Florida. In lieu of Flowers, please send donations to The American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
