HANNON, James Gerald, III,"Big Jim" 53, of Lutz, Florida passed away on May 11, 2014 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Jim was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on November 13, 1960 to Lynn Hannon and James Gerald Hannon, Sr. He graduated from Stamford Catholic High School and Westchester Technical College. Jim grew up in Connecticut but for the last several years has lived in Florida where he enjoyed his many friends, played volleyball and was a member of Gasparilla Ye Motley Krewe of Brigadoon in Tampa, Florida, raising money for charities. He is predeceased by his Father, James Gerald Hannon, Sr. Jim is survived by his mother, Lynn Hannon; sister, Lisa Norcross and her husband, Roy; uncle David and his wife Leigh “Rusty”; niece, Caitlin Norcross; and nephew, Sam Norcross. A reception will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 29, 21735 YMCA Camp Road, Land O' Lakes, 34639. A memorial will take place at his Mother's residence at 2:00 p.m. on June 15, 2014 at 3 Glen Hill Road, Danbury, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to www.gofundme.com, James Hannon.
