James Arthur Hauser
October 8th, 1951 - October 27th, 2019
On Sunday, October 27, 2019, Jim Hauser, 68, was welcomed into his heavenly home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and was reunited with his parents and friends who preceded him. Jim was born October 8, 1951 in Eugene, Ore. Developmentally disabled since birth, he lived with his parents, Art and Arleen Hauser, and siblings in Portland, Ore., and on farms near Aurora, Ore., and Molalla, Ore. He lived at New Hope Farms near Goldendale, Wash. since 1998. Jim was friendly and greeted everyone with a great smile and a warm hello. He loved watching trains, planes, fire trucks and wash machines, listening to the Portland Trailblazer games on radio, and was friendly with all cats. He loved Jesus and loved people. He is survived by his brothers, Dave and Steve; and his sister, Selma. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10 AM at Grace Church, 901 N. Molalla Ave, Molalla. New Hope Farms is a non-profit organization, established in 1978, that provides a loving and caring home and activities for developmentally disabled adults. Donations in honor of Jim may be sent to New Hope Farms, PO Box 89, Goldendale, WA 98620 to be used to build a new activity center for the other residents.
