James Arthur Hilton, 81, of Port Charlotte, died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. He was born on August 26, 1928 in Muncie, IN to George and Thrisae (Barnhorst) Hilton. James moved to Port Charlotte from Yorktown, IN with his wife Norma in 1981. He retired as a forklift operator with General Motors after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1933 and could be found everyday fishing at the Placida Pier. Survivors include his loving wife of forty-five years Norma Hilton; two sons; Michael James Hilton of Arcadia, IN; Steven Arthur Hilton of Wilkinson, IN; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
