James "Stu" Stuart Hunt
December 23rd, 1956 - March 29th, 2022
James Stuart Hunt, age 65 of Palm Bay, Florida passed away peacefully at William Child’s Hospice house on March 29th, 2022 after a courageous journey with cancer . Stuart was born in Wilmington, Delaware on December 23, 1956 to James and Margaret Jane (Marge) Hunt. Stuart is survived by his father James C. Hunt, wife Nancy S White Hunt, stepson Bradley F. White; sisters Susan Hunt Browning, Lori Hunt (Jay Spallina); and stepfather Herb Jarvis, and so many wonderful aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins . Stuart was predeceased in death by his mother Margaret Jane (Marge) Jarvis. After graduating Satellite HS in 1975, Stuart volunteered to proudly serve his country successfully completing the Army’s premier Leadership school receiving his RANGER TAB while assigned to Co A 1st Bn 75th Infantry Ranger/Airborne and was honorably discharged in 1979. After attending University of Florida and Sante Fe college, Stuart joined the fire service in 1985, and rose to the rank of Lieutenant with the City of Melbourne. After 30 years of dedication to saving lives and property, Stuart retired in 2016. Stuart was a member of the Port Malabar Gun Range and the NRA. Stuart spent so much of is free time with friends on the “property”, at the gun range, many days of diving in our local ocean on the Weedline and in the Keyes, surf fishing and watching the Gators every chance he could!!!!! GO GATORS! Stuart loved his Groove Monsters and live music and definitely a DEADHEAD Grateful Dead fan!! All my thanks to Stuie’s buddies, so loyal, always there for him……………………… Carlo (my wingman and MVP), Hym, Tallman, ETM, Nelsonic, Walter, Plateau, Sidney and Shane, just to name a few, ... Stuart had so many friends in his life and shared so much with them every chance he could!
