James Kaiser A memorial service will be held on Monday December 10th at 1:00pm at Junction City United Methodist Church for James “Jim” Kaiser of Junction City who passed away at his home on November 22nd. He was 72. Jim was born on June 17th 1946 to Vernon and Marjorie Kaiser in Harvey, Ill., Relocating to Oregon in 1950 the family settled in Junction City where Jim attended Junction City High School. Jim left high school early to enlist in the Army and served from 1964-1967 in Germany and Vietnam achieving his GED in 1965. Jim had a varied professional life, working as a heavy equipment operator for BLM, then later owning a bar and finally becoming a realtor and real estate broker. Jim was married to Caroline Kaiser (nee’ Small) until their divorce in 1990 and has three children: Sarah, Casey, and Dawn. In addition to his children; Jim is survived by his mother, Marjorie, brother Kip, and beloved dogs, Penny #1 and Penny #2. His father Vernon preceded him in death. Contributions may be made in his name to Greenhill humane society or to the United Methodist Church in Junction City. Arrangements entrusted to Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home.
