James Keller

Heather Gardens resident Jim Keller passed away on February 14, 2014 after a short illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 31, 1923. He proudly served in the Army-Air Corps as a pilot during WWII and flew C-54 transport planes during the Korean War as a Lieutenant in the Air Force. After the Korean War, Jim returned to work for CNA Insurance where he worked for over 40 years before his retirement in 1989. He retired in Cincinnati, Ohio where he lived with his beautiful wife Jeanne for over thirty years. Jeanne preceded him in death in 2012, after 65 years of marriage. He is survived by his four children: John Keller, Denver; Dianne (Carlo) Borsi, Aurora; Robert (Debra) Keller, Wilson, NC; Suzanne (Thomas) Bremer, Englewood; 5 grandchildren: Amy Borsi (Cory) Daniel; Stephen (Barbara) Provence; Robin Borsi; Valeda Keller; Geoffrey Bremer; and one great grandchild, Jadon Provence. He is also survived by his sister Jane Kast, of Maywood, NJ and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held.
