James Edward Kiser
January 11th, 1955 - May 7th, 2024
James (Jim) Edward Kiser- Jim Kiser of San Tan Valley, entered eternal rest on May 7, 2024.
He was born in Washington DC on January 11, 1955, and was raised in Maryland. Jim visited AZ in the late 80’s and fell in love with the desert, eventually moving his family to the Valley of the Sun in March of 1990, and never left.
Jim was a skilled mechanic, businessmen and a self-taught plumber. He successfully owned and operated the Water Mart store in Mesa, AZ and founded Budget Water Conditioning, bringing clean water to the valley for over 30 years. “He cleaned your water, not your wallet.
”Jim is survived by his Jr. High School sweetheart, Janet L. Kiser, to whom he was married to for over 50 years, as well as the pride and joys of his life, his daughters, Jamie L. Kiser of Chandler, AZ and Jennifer D. Kiser of San Tan Valley, AZ, and Papa’s greatest blessing, his granddaughter, Tinsley Rose.
Jim is also survived by his sister, Linda D. Tibbs of KY, his brother Donald G. Kiser of PA, along with a host of nieces, nephews, honorary kids, grandkids, and extended family throughout the country.
Jim was proceeded in death by his parents, Claude and Audrey Kiser, his brother Robert Kiser, his sister Cheryl Day, and his two favorite pups, Sadie and Abbey.
A celebration of Jim’s life will take place on May 25, 2024, at Falconer Funeral Home located at 251 W Juniper Ave, Gilbert AZ 85233. Visitation will begin at 11 am with services starting at 12.*There is limited parking at the funeral home, so we ask that you carpool, or use a rideshare service if possible. There is a parking garage located within walking distance to the facility.
The family will be hosting a reception following the services at 130pm at the Hampton Inn and Suites located at 1825 N Higley Rd, Gilbert AZ 85234.
* In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider making a donation to either the Wounded Warriors Project or Tunnel to Towers in his honor, as Jim proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp.
