James Robert Langseth
April 12th, 1925 - December 17th, 2018
James Robert Langseth Sr. James R. Langseth, Sr., was born on April 12, 1925 to Albert J Langseth and Helen G Shearer. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Jim served from 1943 until 1945 in the United States Army Air Corp. He worked in Tacoma as a milkman for the Medosweet and Foremost Dairies until hi retirement. Jim is preceded in death by his brothers Daniel, Albert, and his sister Barbara. He is survived by Patricia his wife of 73 years, sisters Bonnie and Sandra, son James Jr., daughter Janet (Paul) Smith and granddaughter Kara Castoro (Brad) and great grandchildren Nola and Finley Castoro. He was a member of the Parkland Lutheran Church Men's Club and Easter Breakfast Cook. He enjoyed bowling, softball, golfing, cooking, and traveling. A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Parkland Lutheran Church, 120 123rd St. S., Tacoma, WA 98444. The burial service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Cemetery. The family asks in lieu of flowers, remembrances mat be made to the Parkland Lutheran Church 125th Anniversary Celebration offering.
