Obituary for: James Edward Longenecker James Edward Longenecker, age 52, of LaBelle, passed away April 28, 2010 in Cape Coral. He was born Dec. 3, 1957 in East Stroudsburg, PA. He was a longtime resident of LaBelle. James was an ordained minister and Pastor of Arcadia Church of the Brethren since 1998. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, cars and tractors. Survivors include his wife: Charla Joy(Mims) Longenecker, children, Whitney and Dalton Longenecker of LaBelle, mother: Helen Grace (Conklin) Longenecker, brothers: Rick (Anne) Longenecker, Joe (Kim) Longenecker, Mike (Betty) Longenecker and Danny (Debbie) Longenecker and sister: Joan Williams, all of Arcadia, FL, brother in law, Larry Mason of Naples and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Longenecker Sr. Funeral services will be held Sat. May 1, 2010, 2:00 pm at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle with Rev. Warren Grant officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle. Visitation will be Tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, LaBelle, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
