Mackintosh, James J., ?Jimmy?, 52, of Pinellas Park, died Wednesday, September 5th at Northside Hospital & Tampa Bay Heart Institute. He moved to St. Petersburg in 1969 from his native Manchester, CT. He was employed by West Pharmaceutical for 23 years and later by Florida Medical Equipment Services. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and church activities as a member of Pinellas Park Church of Christ. Survivors include his son, Sean Mackintosh; his parents, Sarah and John Calkins; two sisters, Patricia Kronk and Cindy Calkins; two brothers, William Cormier and Brian Calkins; his grandmother, Sarah Hyson; a stepdaughter, Nicole Colton; a stepson, Olen Colton, II; two grandchildren, Adrianna and Darnell Cooper; 5 nieces, Dana, Katlin, Nicole, Danae, and Sarah; 4 nephews, Matthew, Joey, Billy and Jimmy; and his ex-wife, Janet Mackintosh. A Memorial Service for friends and family will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 15th at Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Ave. No. A dinner reception will immediately follow at Pinellas Park Church of Christ Annex, 6045 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
