James Lloyd Malone
October 16th, 1930 - July 3rd, 2005
Malone, James Lloyd, 74, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday July 3, 2005 at home. Born in Midway, PA, he moved to St. Petersburg from Charlotte, NC in 1984. He was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Technical Institute and also attended the University of Pittsburgh and UCLA. He served as a Sergeant in the US Air Force 2nd Radio Squadron in Darmstadt Germany during the Korean War. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was also a member of the F&AM Lodge 297 and Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh, PA. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 20 years. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Jo Anne, of St. Petersburg, FL; son, Michael James Malone Amy Dallas, TX; daughters, Lauri Watnee Dale, Charlotte, NC and Roberta ShelorDavid, Tampa, FL; and eight grandchildren: Meredyth, Maxfield , Riley and Carlie Malone; Katie JoAnne and Michael Watnee; Graham and Lillie Parke Shelor.
