James Clark Manson
September 8th, 1934 - September 20th, 2016
James Clark Manson, known by friends and family as Jim, lost his battle with Parkinson's Disease on September 20, 2016. Jim was born to James and Barbara Manson on September 8, 1934 in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. He started working at an early age and when he came to the United States, most of his employment was at Todd Shipyards, working as a shipwright. He enjoyed camping, traveling and gambling and in the later years of his life, loved to sit in the garage at his home in Federal Way chatting with neighbors and passersby. Jim enjoyed playing his card game "Take 2" with friends and family and looked forward to playing cribbage with his son on Tuesdays. He loved to watch "shoot-'em-up bang-bang movies", as he would say, with his step daughter, and snacking on peanut butter cups and Pepsi. Jim was an easy-going, "one of a kind", gentle man who loved his family and friends and will be missed by many. Even though he was, by marriage, a step father, the feeling was mutual between him and his step children that he was Dad and a great one at that. Jim is survive by his loving and devoted wife, Janice Manson, his son Mac Manson, his step-son Patrick Dennis (Jenny), his step-daughter Leanne Headley(Michael), Step-Grandson Dana Headley, his sister Barbara Manson (Norma), nieces and nephew and cousins. Please feel free to sign the guestbook with your thoughts and prayers for the family to read. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Parkinson Disease Association or a charity of your choice in Jim's name. The family will be having a private service.
