A memorial service for James Franklin McLemore, 72, of Cayce, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 5, 2016 at Broad Acres Baptist Church, 2350 Taylor Road, Cayce, SC 29033. Pastor Brian Benenhaley will officiate. Mr. McLemore passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at his residence in Cayce. Born in West Columbia, he was a son of the late Elbert Wallace and Ruby Bush McLemore. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a member of Broad Acres Baptist Church in Cayce. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Carol Martin McLemore; son, Franklin Martin "Marty" McLemore of Cayce; daughters, Tammy Sue Adams of Georgia and Rebecca Lynn Jordan of Cayce; grandchildren, Heather Alexis "Lexie" Pearl Jordan, McKinsey Elizabeth Jordan, Hunter Matthew Jordan, all of Cayce, Franklin Jamison "Jamie" McLemore, Patrick Joel "P.J." Adams, Kimberly Lynn Barrett, Cheyenne Autumn Adams, of Georgia, and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Mildred Ward, June Harrison, Mary Oswald, Alice Braxton, Donna Sharpe and Janie Duggan. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Wallace "Shorty" McLemore; sisters, Margaret Martin and Ruby Osterburg.
