James Patrick McNulty

James McNulty, a home advertising entrepreneur, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Charlotte, NC on Tuesday August 17, 2021 at the age of 55. James is survived by his wife, Ashlie McNulty; his daughters, Priscilla Martens (Marschal) and Gabriella McNulty; his granddaughter, Kinsleigh Martens; his sisters, Maureen McNulty, Kathleen Murphy (Dave), and Therese Hodgson. James is preceded in death by his beloved parents, William and Dolores McNulty. James, the youngest of four and only son, was born in Bethesda, Maryland on March 1, 1966 to William Dowling McNulty and Dolores Clementson McNulty. In May 1991, James graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science from the College of Arts and Humanities. A talented artist, James started his own home advertising business in 1989 (JM Designs and New Home Advertising). James' daughters were later born in August 1990 and July 1995. After marrying Ashlie in November 2012, James rekindled his passion for coin collecting, continued his fanatical love of the Redskins, and maintained his devotion to his Cowboys rooting bride. James was very proud of his Irish heritage and loved researching and documenting his family genealogy over the years. An intimate Celebration of Life for James' family and closest friends will be held at a later date.
