Beckman-Williamson Funeral Homes & Crematory - Cocoa Beach
James Means, Sr
August 15th, 1932 - April 9th, 2011
James W. Means Sr. 08/15/1932-04/09/2011 Jim passed away to be with the Lord Saturday the 9th of April. Jim had a passion for manned space flight, his family, and his country. Jim spent the last 7 years helping his son with both the Suntree and Rockledge UPS Stores. Jim touched so many lives through organizations such as Rotary, the Masonic lodge, and the Shriners. Jim is survived by his four children: Jack Means, Leslie Black, Jim Means Jr., and Bill Means. In addition, Jim had 4 grandchildren: Matt, Madeline, Brad, and Brenna Means. Most of all, Jim was the world’s best father. We learned, loved, and laughed together. “Dad, we love and miss you very much. You taught us well; rest with the knowing that your children are equipped with the tools you gave us to make this world a better place”. A service will be held on May 1, 2011 at 2pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 638 South Patricks Drive in Satellite Beach to honor and celebrate the life of our Dad. “Job well done, good and faithful servant”. Love ya!
