Age 72 of Maplewood Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his girls on Feb. 17, 2023. Born in Saint Paul to Adelaide (nee Schepers) and James Meehan Sr. James graduated from Cretin High School, and served in the Army National Guard. He was a Maplewood Police Paramedic for 25 years. Preceded on death by his wife of 42 years, Pam. Survived by his 4 daughters, Dawn Billotte, Sherral (David) Schmidt, Shannon Miller, and Samantha (Michael) Swiger; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, William (Cathy), Paul, Kathy Armstrong, and Peggy (Scott) Pinke, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Thursday Feb. 23 with an 11:00 AM Memorial Service, at the Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 E. Seventh Ave., North St. Paul. Memorials to Time on the Water, MN or Frontline Foundation, MN.
