I met Jim years ago through my ex-husband, who was an electrician and at that time Jim was doing construction work. At the time I thought he was extremely polite and had a beautiful smile. Later on I met his beautiful wife Beth and from there we all four became great friends ❤️, both Beth and J.K. are great people to have as friends.I was so sadden by the news of his passing. Even though I haven't personally been involved with them since my divorce, I have never forgotten the wonderful times we all shared being first time parents together along with other life changing great times... Jim was a hard working man who loved his family which always came first, I know he'll be missed by all. All my love and support goes out to Beth ,and his children and grandchildren. GOD BLESS 🙏 Beth, please reach out to me if you need anything at all.....

How did you meet James?

I met Jim 30 years ago while cleaning a show home. He was hosting the open house. We would often chat when he and I were there at the same times. Our conversations ranged over many topics. He also gave me great cleaning tips and would later hire me and my gals to clean his and Beths house and their rentals! He, Beth and I all hit it off and became friends from that time on. Jim was a kind man with a terrific sense of humor. He will be greatly missed so many. My deepest sympathies to Beth and his entire family.

Rich and I are sharing our condolences to you and the whole family upon hearing that Jim had passed away. We are so sorry that Jim had to endure this physical and mental affliction for such a long time. Our hearts break for you Beth, and the family as you go through this period of mourning. Jim was our realtor for several of the homes we purchased. Always a professional, he guided us through the exciting yet difficult process of purchasing the right home. His special background as general contractor gave him the ability to see beyond the "house" and thus give his clients the solid advise about it's possibilities. We became friends over the years, sharing meals and laughs. He and Beth hosted The Michael J. Fox fundraisers for Parkinson's Disease. What a gala event they put on in their beautiful home. We will miss you Jim, your handsome face, your friendship and your smile.

Jim was a wonderful neighbor. His artistic eye in design, dignity in health concerns, strong business ethics, and love for family inspired me very much. He installed a gate between our two yards to regularly share orange creamsicles with our then-young children. The Kaplan family cherishes his memory and were honored to know him. Our love to Beth.

Jim and I were in the same office at THE GROUP Real Estate for many years. He was a delight to work with, good nature and always smiling. His vision for the housing market was incredible.
