James D. Nalder was born on May 31, 1922 in Layton, Utah and died on October 19, 2010 in Sumner. He was a U.S Army veteran having served in the Battle of the Bulge and also a recipient of the Purple Heart. He is survived by 6 children, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one brother. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Curnow Funeral Home; 1410 Main St. Sumner. A graveside service will be held on Monday 11 a.m. at Sumner Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 512 Valley Ave. Sumner.
