James R. Ott

James Richard Ott, 74, of Cayce, SC, passed away August 26th, 2022. James was born to Richard and Annie Ott on September 29th, 1947 in Columbia, SC. James is preceded in death by his parents and his brother in law, Danny Williams. James Ott is survived by his children, Mandy Tenney, Bondy (Amber) Ott, Bryan (Kim) Ott, and Chad Tyler Ott; his sister, Shelba Williams; his 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 3 nieces. James Ott served his country honorably in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He spent many years working as a truck driver for Pepsi Co from which he retired. James was loved by all his friends and family and will be deeply missed. A graveside memorial service will be held at MT Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery, 1841 Cedar Creek Rd. Pelion, SC at a later date.
