Warner Robins, GA- James ”Jamie” Hanley Peters, 60, went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2018 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Thursday August 30, 2018 10:00AM in Tullahoma Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Visitation will be held Wednesday night from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Jamie will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tullahome, TN. At the request of the family the family respectfully asks in lieu of flowers please make donations payable to the Wounded Warrior Project. PO box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517. Jamie was born on March 1, 1958 to the late James and Patricia (Roberson) Peters. Jamie was a man who loved to make others smile, and laugh. Jamie will be remembered for his passion of bowling and golf. When he wasn’t golfing or bowling he could be found at a local shooting range shooting his guns. With honor Jamie served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force. Upon his retirement Jamie went on to continue to serve his country in civil service at Robins Air Force Base as a quality assurance technician. He will be remembered as a loving person who would help a man in need no matter the time. Jamie is survived by his children: Michael (Becky) Peters, David (Kelsey) Peters, Erica (Cory) Haggard, and Nolan Peters; Grandchildren: Alex, Tyler, Sara, Madison, Calvin, Cristina, and Ava; Sisters: Becky (Wayne) Holden, Beth Peters, and Brenda (Brent) Dye; 3 Nieces, and 1 Nephew.
