POLLACK, Dr. James S., 60 of Clearwater. Died Monday, August 8, 2005 at Largo Medical Center. Born in New York, New York, he came here in 1977 from Altus, Oklahoma. He served in the Air Force. He practiced surgery at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena, since July 1977. He was Chief of Surgery, Chairman of the Governing Board, and active on many of the medical staff committees, all at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. He was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel, Clearwater. Survivors include his wife, Ronnie, children and grandchildren. David C Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, is handling the arrangements.
