James Stephen Prendergast, beloved husband, father, grandfather-to-be, brother, and friend to everyone, passed away on July 7, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was 64. Jim was born March 11, 1946 in Denver, CO to Thomas Stephen and Genevieve Rose Prendergast. Jim began working in the construction supply business 43 years ago and has owned his own company for the past 12 years. His company, Pecos Fasteners, was his passion. His customers and vendors respected his honesty and integrity. His handshake was truly his word. Jim loved professional rodeo and a great horse, as well as vintage cars and tinkering with old trucks with his friends. He was a big fan of old movies and couldn"t live without his television and remote control. Jim was very involved with the raising of his boys.
