Denny passed at home, which was his wish, in Englewood, Colorado. A “Celebration of Life” will occur on November 4 from 2:00-7:00 pm at Wyatt’s, located at the Broken Tee Golf Course, Englewood, CO. Denny was born on 03/05/1941. He grew up and attended Englewood schools his whole life. He graduated from Englewood H.S. in 1959. He met the love of his life, Barbara, at Englewood Junior High School.. They dated in high school and married on December 3, 1960. They have four children: William (Gina), Daniel (Eileen), Dana (Jonella) and Rebecca. Denny worked for Colorado Central Power and Public Service (now Xcel Energy). He frequently handled additional jobs to provide support for his family. He and Barbara also joined the Englewood Volunteer Fire Department in September 1972 as well as being active members of the Englewood Elks for many years. After Barbara passed, he was surrounded by his children and eight grandchildren and was actively involved in all of their lives.
