Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Lacey
James Glen Roth
May 25th, 1967 - April 26th, 2018
James Glen Roth, age 50, passed away April 26, 2018 in Lacey, Washington, his home the last nine years. He was born May 25, 1967 to Alfred James and Anna (Page) Roth in Fullerton, California. He grew up in Simi Valley and Van Nuys, California, later moving to the cities of Downy, Boron, and Paramount, California. Jim graduated with the Class of ’85 from Warren High School and attended Cerritos College. He married Stacie Pendarvis on November 21, 2004 at FoxFire Restaurant, Anaheim Hills, California. Professionally, Jim worked as a district maintenance manager at Waste Connections (April 2005-April 2018). Previously, he worked for Waste Management. Jim was a very selfless, loving, and gentle man. He always found the beauty and the innate goodness within every soul he encountered. He constantly gave compassion, love, and understanding freely, especially to those closest to him. No matter the situation, he always chose to be positive and had a great sense of humor. In addition, Jim was a family man and loved spending as much quality time as possible with his wife, daughter, and granddaughter, Phoenix. Phoenix forever changed his life in the short 18 months that they had together. The two of them shared a very special bond, and she helped him through the darkest times of his life. Jim enjoyed fishing the rivers and streams in Bishop and Lone Pine, California. In more recent years, he became involved in bowling, joined several leagues, and discovered a love for the sport. He also enjoyed sketching and drawing. Jim is survived by his wife, Stacie Roth of Lacey; daughter, Tamrah Roth of Lacey; granddaughter, Phoenix; and sister, Pat Weyers of Paramount. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Heritage Room, 604 Water St. SW, Olympia, WA 98501.
