JAMES LEWIS ROWE, Jr., 53, of Englewood passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at his home. Born on February 1, 1959 in Bradenton, Florida he had been a life long resident of Florida. Jim was employed as an Engineer/EMT for North River Fire District in Manatee County until 1998. He was avid fisherman and a Charter boat captain of the "Let's Go" in Cortez, FL. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife and companion of twenty-two years: Susan J. Rowe of Englewood, FL; his mother: Juanita C. Knutsen of Macclenny, FL; two sons: James L. Rowe III of Englewood, FL and Robert L. (Tracey) Goldy of Ft. Myers, FL; two daughters: Sherri (Larry) Bowman of TN and Jaclyn S. Goldy of Cape May, NJ; one brother: James Cris (Cristine) Rowe of Wirsdale, FL; one sister: Jackie (David) Wright of Macclenny, FL; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 3 PM until service time at 4:30 PM at the Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 South McCall Road, with Pastors David and Jennifer Ragan, officiating.
