JAMES N. SARTORIUS (Indian name Ikto), age 73, of Jefferson, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at his home. Jim was born October 6, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Evelyn (Trosk) Sartorius and his special grandparents Etta and Samuel Joseph. Jimmy leaves behind his brother Peter (Rochelle) of Muskegon, Michigan, his sister Claudia of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; nieces Ceceila Rose Wisnefski (and Rose's father Paul Wisnefski), Eva Dion Knowlton-Sartorius (Tessa), Kaiti Zuidema Simon (Philip), Maggie Zuidema Pleva (David) and their mother Mary Kay VanLente; nephew Evan Barr and great-nephews Enzo and Xxaiden Knowlton-Sartorius. He also leaves his loving family at St. Coletta, where he thrived for the past 60 years and the many friends he made wherever he went. Special thanks to Rainbow Hospice and his Best Buddy. Time of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Mass to follow on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at the Chapel of the Little Flowers on the Alverno campus. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to one of Jim's loves, St. Coletta, Rainbow Hospice, or the S. S. Milwaukee Clipper.
