James David Smith
April 25th, 1973 - July 30th, 2024
James David Smith, aged 51, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2024, in Greeley, CO. He was born on April 25, 1973, in Warsaw, NY, to Karl Jr. and Esther Smith. He grew up a resident of Pavilion, NY and was a 1991 graduate of Pavilion Central High School. He moved to CO around 20 years ago, where he remained until his passing.
Jim was very warm spirited and had a very generous nature. He loved exploring and traveling. His life was an adventure that kept him moving around. Jim always had the ability to make anyone smile, to make anyone feel cared about, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is predeceased by his father, Karl D. Smith Jr.
Jim is survived by his mother, Esther Smith, two sons, Justin and Mark Smith, 2 grandchildren, an older brother, Paul (Melissa) Smith, sister, Amy (Randy) Malone, younger brother, Matt; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private gathering to honor Jim's life will be held by the family at a later date.
