James D. Soule, 71, of Saint Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Kenosha, WI, on July 2, 1944 to the late John A. Soule and the late Rose M. Morjeiko. James was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967 and served during the Vietnam Conflict. Following his service, James met Maria Gallo and they relocated from Kenosha, WI to Key West, FL in September of 1980. After establishing themselves in Florida, the couple relocated to St. Petersburg in 2006 to be closer with their children and family. James was a member of the VFW Post 3911 in Key West, an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling. James is survived by his wife of 46 years, Maria Soule; children, Douglas Soule and wife Jennifer and Julie Miller and husband Thomas; grandson, John Michael "Jack" Miller. There will be a funeral mass on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1800 12th St N, St Petersburg, FL 33704.
