James "Jimmy" Oscar Sullivan
August 4th, 1976 - March 3rd, 2018
Sullivan, James (Jimmy) Oscar, III, 41, died March 3, 2018. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina on August 4, 1976. He was preceded in death by his father, James (Skipper) Oscar Sullivan, Jr. and by his grandfather, James "Oscar" Sullivan. He spent most of his life in South Carolina, but he did live in Mansfield, Ohio for 10 years where he had two sons with Shannon Miller. Jimmy and Shannon have three sons, Tyler James, Coby Lee and Devon Scott. He stopped at his momma’s house in South Carolina before moving on to Tampa. Jimmy enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved fishing with his boys. He was a good man with a big heart and a great sense of humor. His bosses said that he was a hard worker and he did it with a smile on his face. He loved people and they loved him in return. He made friends easily and had become very close to one that he called brother, Michael. He loved working with his hands and so loved building houses, porches, roofs and just about anything. You knew that if he were your friend that you could count on him. He had hoped to soon start a small business with his eldest son and a business that all of his sons would be a part of, but it wasn't meant to be. He had come to within months of fulfilling his dream and their dream with his sons. I know that the boys will pick up where their dad left off and be a great success. Tyler, Coby and Devon were what he was most proud of. He loved his boys. He is survived by his momma, Vanessa Macpherson, who can't more broken hearted to lose her only son and first child. He also has Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hill of Loris, South Carolina, his Papa and Mama. He loved his momma almost as much as his momma loved him and she misses him greatly. Jimmy is also survived by Mrs. Maxine (Granny) Sullivan of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. He has two sisters, Nicole Strickland of Loris, South Carolina and Casey Lambert of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; 2 nephews and 4 nieces.
