Mr. James L. Taylor Sr., 69 of Lake Alfred, Fl., formerly of Fredonia, Pa., went into the arms of the Lord on February 4, 2014 at home due to cancer. Mr. Taylor was born June 20, 1944 to Jacob & Betty (Penn) Taylor in Brookfield, Ohio. He was a professional Truck Driver for over 45 years and owned and operated Taylor Trucking for many years. As a result of being a professional truck driver he received many awards for his safety including The Master Truck Driver's Award for driving over 3 million miles without an accident. James also loved riding his golf cart, traveling, garden tractor pulling, boating and spending time with his family and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William Taylor and sister, Sandy Gontz. James is survived by his family, including over 50 years with his loving wife and high school sweetheart Peg Taylor of Lake Alfred, son, James L. Taylor Jr. (Debbie) of Coch-ronton, Pa., 2 daughters, Lisa Frantz of Greenville, Pa. and Melissa Caszatt (Bob) of Auburndale, and sister, Patricia Hoover of Auburndale. James also leaves 5 grandchildren, Megan Frantz, Tiffani Frantz and Ashleigh Chess, all of Pa., Richard Chess Jr. of Fl. and Haylee Caszatt of Fl., 5 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, Lilly Frantz, Colton Frantz and Jacob Totten, all of Pa. and 4 step grandchildren.
