Warner Robins, GA; Mr. James Frankie Thurman, 59, passed away on Friday, September 15th, 2011 at Heart of Georgia Hospice, Perry, GA. Visitation and Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19th, 2011 At Northview Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Northview Methodist Church with Funeral services starting at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Frankie was born to the late James William and Emma Nadine Driver Thurman. He was predeceased by his brothers Billy Thurman, Jimmy Thurman and sister Wanda T. Kennedy. Frankie was an avid fisherman and loved teaching fishing to friends and family members. Frankie was of the Baptist faith and he was a self-employed painter. Frankie is survived by his Sisters; Carol Outlaw, Debbie Blake Smith, all of Bonaire, GA; Wynell Larry Parks of Perry, GA; Twana Ned Marlow, Patty Tony Durham of Warner Robins, GA; Children Sharon Ross of Byron, GA and James Connolly of Griffin, GA; Six Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to James Frankie Thurman memorial fund at 701 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31093. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
