Jamie Jo Johnson

Jamie Jo Johnson, 54 Born December 9, 1965 - Died August 1, 2020 Jamie Jo Johnson died a tragic death in Savannah, Georgia. Jamie grew up in Naugatuck, Connecticut. She attended Naugatuck High School and the University of South Florida. She was an incredible athlete - cheerleader, gymnast, synchronised swimmer, modern dancer, diver and snow and water skier. She was a seasoned traveller galivanting across Europe and exploring many of the Caribbean Islands. She worked in New York City and later went on to meet her husband Ned on a cruise and married in Chicago where Jamie was the Finance Manager at Knauz Land Rover for many years. In 2017, Jamie and Ned moved to Bluffton, South Carolina to be closer to her mother. Jamie loved her family, friends and animals. She regularly attended First Presbyterian Church. She was stunningly beautiful, had the most contagious enthusiasm and an incredible zest for life. She will be deeply missed. Due to Covid-19, funeral arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hilton Head Humane Association. She leaves behind Ned Kontogouris (husband), Paula Johnson Traver (sister), Jack Traver (brother-in-law), Robert David Johnson (brother), Frances Debarber Corcoran (mother), Robert Carl Johnson (father), Jillian Traver Ball (Gerrard Ball) (niece) and Brandon Traver (nephew).
