Jamie Lynn Perry
December 7th, 1957 - August 7th, 2022
Jamie Lynn Perry, born Jamie Lynn Hall came into this world on Dec. 7th 1957 in Long Island, NY to James H. and Marilyn P. Hall (Garafola).
She passed away at Largo Medical Center on August 7th, 2022. In the early 1960's Jamie, her parents and her 4 siblings moved to St. Petersburg, FL where she grew up and went to school. Jamie was a free thinker and strong willed girl who moved out in her teens. She loved to travel when she could. She spent most of her life in the South St. Pete area and Gulf Port and eventually bought a "little home that was hers" in Largo, FL.
She loved taking and collecting pictures, writing, never missed a birthday, anniversary or milestone by sending a card to those she loved and cared about. Her favorite place to go was the beach and she would never turn down a good fish fry or crab legs. If you ever ran into her she was probably playing her numbers and knew all "the business" about everything, something her niece Yvonne learned from her, and she would give you the shirt off her back. She was left-handed like her father Jimmy and nephew Zhane and she said the best time of her life was when she lived in her early twenties in New York City.
Jamie was preceded in death by her husband Hezekiah "Tony" Perry, Her beloved father James H. Hall, Mother and step-father Marilyn P. and Victor J. Garafola, brothers Edward and Terrence Hall, baby nephew Travis Hall, she is survived by; her brother-in-law Joe Price (Hall), niece Yvonne Casey, nephews Mark McDonald, Ricky and Kyle Humphreys, seven amazing great-nieces and nephews, a brother, one uncle, dozens of cousins and family members/friends. -We found out awhile after Jamie had gone to heaven, by that time her baby sister had died as well, Jacqueline Humphreys. I put this here because nobody knows the bond that only two sisters would understand.
