Artist best known for oil on canvas figures and portraits; trained in Chicago at the Art Institute and Seattle at the Frye Museam. She loved opera and was a voracious reader; a gentle, loving, kind sweet spirit with a great sense of humor. She is survived by three children and two grandchildren.
