Jane Brooks

The good Lord has taken Jane Louise Brooks to his holy kingdom on October 18th, 2023. May she watch over us all. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4 Jane was born on March 12, 1953 in Batavia, New York to Donald Hendershott and Annie Hendershott. She was raised in Oakfield, New York but currently called Saint Petersburg, Florida her home. Jane was the mother of Brett Jeffery Brooks, wife Gretchen Brooks. Jason Scott McKinney, wife Jessica McKinney. Grandmother to Mariah Jennifer McKinney, Hannah Jordyn Brooks and Isabella Victoria McKinney. Surviving siblings include Judy Kolb, Donna Macaluso, Diane Hendershott, Sally Amend, and preceded in death by Dennis (Ike) Hendershott. Dog mom to JB, Xena, Mesha and Petra. Jane was a beloved Daughter, Mother, Grandma, Dog Mom/ Dog Grandma and kindest friend. She was a loving and genuine person. Jane had the greatest love for animals, especially cats and dogs. You would always see her greet every animal she would come across with a smile and a treat. She worked for Harborage Marina where she was adored by many. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. “Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:24
