In loving memory of Jane Lee Burr, 57, who went home to be with the Lord August 6, 2015. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Sunday August 9, 2015 at Antioch United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Jane was born December 27, 1957 to the late Peggy Jane Lasley Burr and James L. Burr who survives. In addition to her mother, she also was preceded in death by her brother Gary Burr, aunt Lucile Hester, and uncles Ray Lasley, Ervin Whicker, and John Hester. She graduated from East Forsyth High School Class of “76. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her fiancé Eddie “Face” Lawson of Belews Creek; father James L. Burr and Tina of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; sister Gaile Burr of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; step-brother Alfonso Santos of Lacanto, FL; aunts Polly Whicker, Alline Hester and William, Ruth Hester, Jean Cox, and Sadie Lasley; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends from 5-7pm Saturday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel in Kernersville.
