Jane Wraith Holbrook, 84, of Tucson, was born to the late William Jr. and Gladys Wraith, February 2, 1929, in Anaconda, MT. She passed away on October 14, 2013 in Tucson, AZ. Jane attended the University of Arizona after graduating from Bisbee High Schoo and also attended Chadwick Seaside School in Rolling Hills, CA. She attended grade schools in Anaconda, MT; Los Angeles, CA; and Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. She married the late Dr. John Paul Holbrook in 1969; and they lived together in Tucson, AZ. and Bigfork, MT. Jane was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, The Junior League of Tucson, Sunbonnet Garden Club, The Silver and Turquoise Board of Hostesses, The Pima County Medical Auxiliary, and the Tucson Country Club. She was a charter member of Women in the Arts. She was active in the Pima County Association for the Retarded and served on its Board for many years. In recent years. She became active in Sunstone Cancer Support Services. Jane is survived by two children, Catherine (David) Boscacci and James Wraith Weed; brother, William (Leslie) Wraith III; grandsons, William and Christopher Boscacci; and nephews, William (Ellen) Wraith IV and Steven Wraith. She is also survived by stepchildren, Charity, Bruce Paul, Elizabeth, and Margaret Holbrook; and five step-grandchildren, Johanna, Henry, John Alexander, Anthony and Will. The family requests memorial gifts to Artworks UA Foundation, P.O. Box 245052, Tucson, AZ (a day program for the developmentally disabled) or Sunstone Cancer Care Center, 2545 N. Woodland Road, Tucson, AZ. Memorial Services will be held at St. Philips in the Hills on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to join the family at the Tucson Country Club following the services.
