Jane Ayres Huffman
December 10th, 1928 - November 25th, 2015
Jane Ayres Huffman died peacefully at her home on November 25, 2015 at the age of 86. Born Betty Jane Ayres, daughter of Ed and Mona Ayres in Boston Mass. She was raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Rockport, Massachusetts and Columbus, Ohio. She earned her degree in Anthropology at the University of New Mexico and was a member of Pi Beta Phi. Jane lived in Lexington, Mass. and has lived in Santa Cruz, CA since 1967. She enjoyed gardening, reading and Scottish Country Dancing. Jane is survived by her three children; Elise, Linda and Steve Huffman. A celebration of her life is being planned. For more information please e-mail the family at [email protected].
