Janet Louise Bopp
June 2nd, 1938 - July 19th, 2013
Janet Louise Bopp, 75, of Surprise (Sun City Grand), AZ passed away at home July 19, 2013 after a long illness. Janet was born June 2, 1938 in Murray County, MN to Edwin and Lola (Anderson) Ginn. In 1955 she moved with her family to La Mesa, CA. In 1958, Janet married Alex (Whitey) Bopp shortly after he was discharged from the Navy in San Diego, CA. They then moved to Eaton, CO where her husband had grown up. Janet retired from Eastman Kodak Colorado Division in 1992. Janet and her husband moved to Arizona in 2005. Janet is survived by her husband, Alex Bopp of Surprise, AZ; daughter ,Tamora (Rob) Stokes; son, Mark Bopp of Eaton; sister, Connie (Chanson) Ginn; brother, Gordon Ginn; both of La Mesa, CA; and granddaughters, Nicole, Hailey and Charlotte Stokes of Littleton, CO. Her granddaughters were the love of her life. She spent many happy hours sewing clothes for them and their dolls. Janet is very much loved and will be greatly missed by her loving husband and family. She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Edwin Ginn Jr. A celebration of Janet’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Adamson Chapel in Greeley, CO. Interment will be at Eaton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to "Hospice of the Valley” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
