Byron, GA- Janet DeSimone, 71, went home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Wednesday November 16, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on November 19, 2016 at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Warner Robins, GA. The Reverend Robert Jarrett will officiate. Janet was born on April 3, 1945 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Robert and Laura Morton. She worked as a secretary at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she later retired. After retirement, she and her husband made the most out of their time together by traveling the country and visiting family along the way. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bob DeSimone, Byron, GA; four children, Louis DeSimone, Hollywood, FL; Ron (Michelle) DeSimone, Cherry Hill, NJ; Dennis (Michelle) DeSimone, Baton Rouge, LA; Laurie (Stephen) Setinsek, Byron, GA; grandchildren Taylor, Jessica, Michaela, Gabriel, Shannon, Anna, Victoria, Ciarra; and one brother, Craig (Judy) Morton. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the missionary fund at Covenant Presbyterian Church 1631 Green St. Warner Robins, GA 31093, or to Shelterwood Academy 3025 N. Twyman Rd. Independence, MO 64058.
