Janet Leonides Febbo
September 20th, 1951 - August 8th, 2024
Janet Leonides Febbo, age 72, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on August 8th, 2024 in Tucson, AZ.
Janet was born on September 20th, 1951 to parents Alfonso Lancaster and Carmen Vega Lancaster in Tucson, AZ. She shared her childhood growing up and making memories with her beloved siblings, Alfonso Lancaster Jr and Gloria Hardiman. Janet married her loving husband, Mark L. Febbo, on July 14th, 1972 in Tucson, AZ. Her life was a testament to the dedication of her faith, her community, and her family.
Janet’s unwavering kindness and generosity were felt by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. A devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witness, she dedicated much of her time to teaching those in the community about the Bible, leaving a lasting spiritual impact on many lives. Her selfless nature and commitment to her faith will be remembered by all who knew her.
Janet is survived by her husband: Mark L. Febbo, her children: Cindi (and Chris) Johnson, Mark A. (and Jenni) Febbo, and Angela M. Febbo, her grandchildren: Christopher Johnson, Issac Johnson, Maeven Marley Febbo, and Hadley Hawk Febbo, her siblings: Alfonso (and Cassie) Lancaster Jr. and Gloria (and Charles) Hardiman, her nephews: Dominic Lancaster (and his children) and James Hardiman, and her nieces: Marlena Lancaster (and her children) and Alyssa Mayhall (and her children). She is preceded in death by her father, Alfonso Lancaster, and mother, Carmen Vega Lancaster. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched with her gentle spirit and caring heart.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm on August 31st, 2024 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness (5462 S. 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ).
The Febbo family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have been by our side, kindly offering love and assistance to Janet, especially during her battle with Alzheimer’s.
