Janet Goldstein, age 74, a 20 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016. Janet was born January 25, 1942 in Brooklyn NY to the late Morris and the late Esther Davidson. Janet loved to sing. As a child, she was a member of the New York City All-City Choir, which performed at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. Janet enjoyed theater and was very involved with community theater in New York, producing numerous shows. She also enjoyed swimming and playing Mah Jong. Janet is survived by her husband Sidney Goldstein of Las Vegas; children Charles (Beth) Goldstein of Oceanside NY and Jason (Margot) Goldstein of Las Vegas; grandchildren Shane, Alec, Jessie, Max and Mia; and brother Warren (Bill Peters) Davidson of Ft. Lauderdale FL. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont NY. A memorial service will be held in Las Vegas on Sunday, August 14 at 2:00 PM at The Summit at Sun City Summerlin, 2215 Thomas W Ryan Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89134. Contributions in Janet's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
