Hardy, Janet Reeves, 61, of St. Pete Beach, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 4th. Originally from Wilkinson, IN, she moved to St. Petersburg and graduated from Dixie Hollins High School. With Janet, friends and family always came first. She also had a love for life, sunset strolls and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Norman Reeves. Janet is survived by her son Andrew G. Hardy and partner George A. Kalogridis; her daughter Amy Sue Lambert and husband Timothy M. Lambert; 2 grandsons, Sydney Melvin and Zachary Cohen; her beloved canine companion of 17 years Daisy and sister Linda S. King. A funeral service will be held at 9am on Tuesday, June 10th at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home-Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Ave. N. Visitation will follow until 11am. The family has requested that donations be made to the Janet R. Hardy Memorial Fund of the Pike's Peak Community Foundation, 730 North Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
