June 7th, 1949 - June 14th, 2018
Janet Pamela Schilling, 69, passed away June 14, 2018 in Centralia, Washington, her home of 25 years. Janet cooked and waitressed at the PO Club in Adak, was a warehouse worker at SanMar, was employed by The Kitchen Collection Incorporated, and worked in hospital administration. Janet was incredibly generous, always giving. She was thoughtful, dedicated and strong-willed. She had a smile that lit up any room, a great sense of humor, and a hearty, happy, contagious laugh. She enjoyed cooking, feeding others, and taking family out to eat. She enjoyed buying and giving gifts, and supporting charities. She was devoted to her country and supported our military, veterans, and first responders (police, fire fighters, EMTs). She especially loved being with her children and grandchildren, supporting them in anything they pursued. She also led Cub Scouts, Brownies and Girl Scouts. Janet is survived by her husband, James Robert Schilling; son, Leonard James Schilling; daughter, Julie Marie Eschilling; three granddaughters, Kaitlin, Ayla, and Lila; her mother, Florence Mae Myers; brothers, James M.
