Janice Brown

Janice Aileen Brown, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021. She was 82 years old. She was born December 24, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Madge Ethel Rough and William H. Brown. In 1971 she moved to Port Charlotte, Florida from DeKalb, Illinois. Janice was a home cleaner and babysitter. She also volunteered at a children’s Sunday school. She had many hobbies that included ceramics, painting, line dancing, and spending time with the children she would babysit. She had a great love for all of her nieces and nephews. Janice was predeceased by her parents and older sister. She is survived by her loving brother, Gordon. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Janice’s name to the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church and the South Port Square Employee Appreciation Fund.
