Janice Mary Wolfe

Janice Mary Wolfe, age 68, wife of Lloyd Wolfe, passed away Thursday April 21, 2022 in her home from lung cancer. Janice was born September 16, 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Janice was a dedicated public school teacher. She retired in 2018 after 28 years of serving as a public educator at Oakbrook Middle School in Dorchester District Two. Survivors in addition to her husband Lloyd are: sister, Karen (Jeff) of Niagara, WI; son, David (Loran) of Columbia, SC; daughter, Amy (Carter) of Summerville, SC; daughter, Julie (David) of Summerville, SC; and daughter, Audrey (Sam) of Boston, MA. Additionally, she is survived by six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Mary Fick. Janice’s love for helping and serving others was evident to all who met and knew her. She loved doing for others and was loved by her family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5 to 7 at Crossroads Community Church at 505 Gahagan Road, Summerville, SC 29485. A small private graveside family gathering will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery on Friday April 29, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the SPCA.
