Janice Lee Yohman passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 of Columbia Pike, Arlington, VA, formerly of Hermitage, PA. She was born on September 24, 1947 to Doris Dresch Yohman and the late Harry Yohman. She graduated from Hickory High School in 1965 and Shenango Valley Commercial Institute and was a former member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. She accepted a position with the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. and worked for the U.S. Treasury Department and for Golumbe Associates, a banking consulting firm. For the past 20 years, she was a legal secretary for K&L Gates in Washington, D.C. Janice is survived by her mother, Doris Dresch Yohman of Hermitage, PA, her brother Mark Yohman and his wife, Rebecca Yohman of Garland, TX, two nieces, Kimberly Yohman and Jessica Upchurch and her husband, Jason, a great-nephew, Pierre Gates, all of the Dallas, TX. She is also survived by many loving friends. A private service will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to SOME (So Others Might Eat) or The Salvation Army.
